Why Barre and Yoga?

Yoga poses, combined with yoga breathing build strength and elongate muscles with an increased range of motion. Even though yoga is not considered aerobic, some research has shown that yoga outperforms aerobic exercise in improving flexibility, balance, energy and strength. Yoga also assists in improving pain levels, hormone imbalances and occupational functioning while also fostering inner alignment and peace.

Barre exercises improve bone density, muscle tone, balance, flexibility and endurance while simultaneously building a stronger outside appearance. These results are derived from our challenging state-of-the-art instruction, including light-weight use and isometric exercises incorporating yoga, pilates and ballet.
